The 2019 Nobel Prize in Economists (The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel) has been awarded to Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Michael Kremer of Harvard University for their experiment-based approach to study the poverty alleviation programs.
