What do polling data tell us unequivocally? Joe Biden is the leader, he is the most electable candidate. Biden’s rival is not clear. It appears to be a cluster: Harris, Warren and Sanders. Empirics tells us that Joe Biden is likely to be the nominee.
A firm that wants to increase the price should “nibble” at price increases. That is, the increases must be small. Preferably, small enough to be within the latitude of price acceptance which will mean that there will be no impact on the probability of purchase. With the increase price, the reference price will also increase in the adaptive model. As the reference price increases, price latitude will increase. So, there is much benefit in small increments of price increases.
The decision to lift some of the restrictions on Huawei is a prudent and mutually beneficial move. As matter of negotiating chip, there are still many pending restrictions on Huawei. The US administration should consider relaxing the restrictions further. Such action will not only engender the goodwill of Chinese government, it will also enhance the productivity and innovation.
As President Trump prepares to travel to G20 summit, and meet with President Xi, the media reports suggest that China will insist on lifting of sanctions against Huawei. President Trump should certainly consider this.
The question, therefore, is this: Can US protect its national security interests, and yet permit Huawei’s participation in building a productive society? The answer is Yes, the US can. If Europeans can do it , why not the US which is the most innovative society in the world?

Apart from UK which is considering engagement with Huawei, so are Canada (on how to repair the relations) and Switzerland.
Joe Biden must now run for the Democratic Party nomination for the sake of fairness to all, including to himself. Of course, Biden’t candidacy will require a lot of sacrifice on his part but Biden’s long public life must have an opportunity to be vindicated.
